The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) is set to host the 2024 Cerge Remonde Leadership Conference from September 18 to 20 in Makati City. Aiming to empower its chapters in the regions, this gathering of broadcasters is set to enhance the leadership and impact of KBP Local Chapters across the country.

 

Entitled “Energize to Win,” the KBP says that this national conference shall provide its Local Chapter leaders and representatives clear understanding of their mission and purpose, provide guidelines and tools for goal-setting, boost chapter activity, and enhance responses to the ever-changing media landscape.

 

The conference will kick off with a discussion of KBP's impact on transforming broadcast media in the digital age. There will also be a panel discussion addressing the key challenges faced by the attendees in their respective areas. A lecture will focus on Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Ad Standards Council (ASC) advertising rules

and standards, followed by discussions on best practices and priorities of Local Chapters.

 

Additionally, the KBP Standards Authority (SA) will present their organizational mandates. Participants will also engage in detailed training sessions on managing complaints, mediation, and conciliation, and will learn about the Local Chapters

Incentive Program.

 

A Local Chapter is a regional or city-based branch of the KBP. These local chapters aim to serve the interests of broadcasters in their respective areas by providing support and networking opportunities. The Cerge Remonde Leadership Conference will be attended by KBP Chapter Chairmen, KBP SA Performance Officers, KBP Regional Officers, and

other Local Chapter representatives.
