NTC Extends Deadline for Annual Report Submission to June 30, 2026
May 5th, 2026

MAKATI— May 5, 2026 – The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) advises its members that the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has officially extended the deadline for the submission of Annual Reports covering the year 2025.

Under NTC Memorandum Circular No. 04-10-2006, broadcast stations and other covered entities—including Public Telecommunications Entities (PTEs), cable TV operators, Direct-to-Home (DTH) providers, and other pay TV services—are required to submit their Annual Reports on or before April 30 each year. However, through NTC Memorandum Order No. 004-04-2026, the Commission has moved the deadline to June 30, 2026.

This extension follows the issuance of Executive Order No. 110 series of 2026, which declared a State of National Energy Emergency. The adjusted timeline is intended to give broadcasters and other regulated entities sufficient time to prepare their reports amid operational challenges brought about by current conditions.

Clarifying Reportorial Obligations

KBP reminds all members that the Annual Report required by the NTC is separate and distinct from the Annual Report submitted to Congress pursuant to legislative franchise obligations. Compliance with both requirements remains mandatory.

Members are encouraged to review the applicable guidelines and ensure that all submissions meet the prescribed standards and formats of the NTC.
